The fishery is definitely fully open to everyone and all anglers who have visited this week have been impressed by the work that has taken place in the last month and their fish catches.  There is still some work to be done but none of this will interfere with visiting anglers.

Thank you to the Hunterston 'B' Fly Fishing Club who brought 17 members on Saturday.  The weather was atrocious but everyone still had a great day.

Other anglers this week included S. Milne with 18 fish released on small nymphs and buzzers, J. Murphy with 9 fish released on various damsel patterns, R. Fullerton with 15 fish released, R. Allan and J. Mclymont released 6 each on black and green lures, B. Eadie with 10 fish release.

The fishery has also been visited 3 times this week by boys from Geilsland School in Beith who have all caught their fish and enjoyed the experience.

Opening times have changed for the moment to 9am - 5pm every day.  Tea and coffee will still be available but please bring your own food for the moment
